HomeOptix Privacy Policy

Effective October 27, 2026

HomeOptix Inc. (“HomeOptix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you visit our website, submit a form, schedule or purchase services, use HomeOptix Social Autopilot, connect a social media account or Google Business Profile, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with HomeOptix.

This policy is a notice of our privacy practices. It does not replace consent or other authorization where required. The specific restrictions for connected social-account and Google user data below take priority over broader descriptions of marketing, sharing, and retention elsewhere in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us

  • Name

  • Business or brokerage name

  • Email address

  • Telephone number

  • Billing or service address

  • Property address

  • Appointment and access instructions

  • Information submitted through contact, scheduling, order, or quotation forms

  • Service selections and order details

  • Communications, requests, feedback, and customer-service messages

  • Images, videos, documents, logos, headshots, listing information, and other materials submitted for services

  • Payment and transaction-related information

  • Social Autopilot onboarding preferences, selected themes, connected-account choices, post approvals, and publication instructions

  • The email address you use to sign in to Social Autopilot and records of sign-in requests

Information from other sources

We may receive information from an authorized agent, brokerage, property owner, listing or media-delivery platform, payment provider, or connected social platform to provide the services you request. Connected social-account information is described in Section 4A, Google Business Profile information in Section 4B, and Social Autopilot sign-in in Section 4C.

Payment information

Payment-card information is generally processed by third-party payment processors and is not stored directly by HomeOptix except for limited transaction records, such as payment status, amount, and identifying transaction information.

Information collected automatically

  • IP address or information derived from it

  • Approximate geographic location

  • Browser type and version

  • Device type, operating system, and screen characteristics

  • Referral source

  • Pages viewed

  • Links and buttons clicked

  • Date and time of visits

  • Website interactions and navigation activity

  • Cookie and device identifiers

  • Advertising and analytics identifiers

  • Consent preferences

  • Information about form, telephone, email, scheduling, or purchase interactions

Location limitation

We do not use website analytics to obtain a visitor’s precise GPS location or residential street address.

2. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, server-side event technology, and similar tools to:

  • Operate and secure the website

  • Remember preferences

  • Measure website traffic and performance

  • Understand how visitors use the website

  • Determine how visitors found HomeOptix

  • Evaluate marketing and advertising performance

  • Prevent fraud and abuse

  • Improve our website, services, and customer experience

  • Display or measure relevant advertising where permitted

Consent choices

Where our website presents cookie settings, visitors can use them to manage the optional categories offered and change their preferences. Browser and device controls offer additional choices. Where applicable law requires consent before using a technology, we obtain that consent; where it requires an opt-out, we honor that choice. See Sections 12 and 13 for additional privacy choices and contact information.

Certain essential technologies may operate without optional consent where permitted and necessary for security, website operation, fraud prevention, or a service requested by the visitor. Declining cookies does not necessarily prevent every form of measurement; the Google consent-mode disclosure below explains limited signals that may be sent where permitted.

Social Autopilot sign-in cookie

The Social Autopilot sign-in and account-connection pages use one strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in and to tie each account connection to the browser that started it. It is set only on those pages, cannot be read by page scripts, expires after a short period, and is not used for analytics or advertising.

3. Google Analytics and Google Technologies

Overview

We use Google Analytics 4 and related Google technologies to measure website activity and understand how visitors interact with HomeOptix.

Google Analytics may collect information including:

  • Pages visited

  • Approximate location

  • Device and browser information

  • Referral and campaign information

  • Website interactions

  • Cookie or device identifiers

  • Consent status

  • Engagement and conversion activity

We may use features including:

  • Google Signals

  • Granular location and device reporting

  • Enhanced Measurement

  • Advanced Consent Mode

  • Google Search Console integration

  • Advertising and campaign measurement features

Additional Google disclosures

Google Signals may use information from visitors who are signed in to a Google account and have enabled applicable personalization settings. This may allow aggregated and cross-device reporting in accordance with Google’s policies and the visitor’s Google account settings.

Advanced Consent Mode may transmit limited, cookieless measurement signals when analytics or advertising consent is denied, where permitted. These signals are intended to support aggregated measurement and modeling rather than traditional cookie-based identification.

HomeOptix does not intentionally include names, email addresses, telephone numbers, or similar directly identifying contact details in ordinary Google Analytics events, page URLs, or event parameters. Any separately configured user-provided data feature must follow the applicable Google requirements, privacy disclosures, and consent requirements. A pseudonymous User-ID, if used, is different from directly identifying contact details.

The features used depend on the website configuration and applicable consent choices.

Visitors may also manage Google advertising and personalization settings through their Google accounts and may use available browser or device controls to restrict cookies and tracking.

4. Meta Pixel and Conversions API

Overview

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API through Wix to measure activity connected with Facebook and Instagram advertising.

These technologies may collect or receive information such as:

  • Page views

  • Website interactions

  • Referral and campaign information

  • Device and browser information

  • Cookie or advertising identifiers

  • Form, lead, scheduling, or purchase events

  • Transaction or service information

  • Hashed identifiers where permitted and technically configured

Hashing changes the format of an identifier but does not necessarily make it anonymous; a recipient may use it to match an account.

Additional Meta disclosures

Conversions API may transmit certain event information from the website or website platform to Meta through server-to-server connections. This may improve measurement reliability, attribution, fraud prevention, and advertising performance.

Meta processes information according to its own terms, privacy policies, advertising settings, and user-account controls.

4A. HomeOptix Social Autopilot and Connected Social Accounts

Scope and authorization

HomeOptix Social Autopilot helps real estate agents and brokerages prepare, review, schedule, and publish property-marketing content to accounts they authorize. This section applies when you use that service or connect an account. Features and supported platforms depend on availability and the permissions you grant.

You connect Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts through the platform's authorization process. You choose the available accounts or business assets you authorize and can withdraw access. HomeOptix does not ask you to give us your

Facebook or Instagram password. Platform-issued access tokens allow the functions you authorize without giving us that password.

Information involved

Depending on the connection and permissions you grant, we receive or maintain:

  • Account, user, Page, professional-account, or business-asset identifiers, names, usernames, profile details, and contact information made available by the platform.

  • Information about the Pages or professional accounts you are authorized to manage so you can select the intended destination.

  • Authorization records, granted permissions, access tokens, token expiration information, and connection status.

  • Content you provide or approve for publishing, including listing details, captions, photographs, graphics, videos, links, and hashtags.

  • Selected destinations and formats, approvals, scheduling instructions, published post or media identifiers and links, delivery status, errors, and related service records.

  •

Performance or engagement information is accessed only where that feature is offered and you grant the permissions needed for it. The core organic- publishing service does not require access to private messages, personal contacts, or unrelated personal-profile content. Connecting an account does not authorize us to collect every category of data that a platform makes available.

How this information is used

We use connected-account information to identify and connect the accounts you select, prepare previews, associate your approval with the intended content and destination, publish or schedule authorized content, confirm delivery, troubleshoot errors, provide support, and protect the service. We request access appropriate to the features you use.

An account connection provides technical authorization. Publication follows your content approvals and explicit publishing instructions. Connecting an additional social account does not automatically approve existing content for that new destination.

Organic publishing and optional advertising

Authorizing organic posts does not, by itself, authorize paid advertising, access to an ad account, or spending on your behalf. Any optional advertising service requires separate service instructions and appropriate account permissions. Any additional collection or use is explained before that feature is enabled.

Restrictions on Meta Platform Data

Information received from Meta through its developer platform is called Meta Platform Data in this policy. We use it only for the authorized service and other uses permitted by Meta's applicable terms and law. We do not sell or license that data, use it for unrelated advertising or profiling, or use it to train artificial-intelligence models. We do not authorize service providers to use it for those purposes.

Our general website advertising disclosures do not authorize using Social Autopilot's connected-account data for unrelated advertising.

Access is limited to people and service providers who need it for an authorized function. A brokerage receives account or service information only where the agent's authorization or the agreed brokerage arrangement permits it. Brokerage affiliation alone does not authorize unrestricted access to an agent's social-account data.

See Sections 10 and 12A for retention, disconnection, and deletion.

4B. Google Business Profile

Scope and authorization

If you choose to connect a Google Business Profile, Social Autopilot uses Google's sign-in and authorization process so you can select a Business Profile you manage and publish posts you have approved to it. We request only the Google permission needed to manage Business Profiles (the "business.manage" scope). HomeOptix does not ask for your Google password. You choose the profile used; Social Autopilot is designed for an agent's own profile.

Information involved

  • Identifiers for your Google account's Business Profile accounts and the business locations you manage, with their names, addresses, and verification status, so you can choose the intended profile.

  • The authorization Google issues to HomeOptix (a long-lived refresh token and short-lived access tokens), the permission granted, and connection status. Refresh tokens are kept only in a restricted secrets-management service, never in emails, graphics, or reports.

  • The posts we publish for you: text, image, button link, post identifiers, links, and review or publication status.

How this information is used

We use Google user data only to show you the profiles you can choose, publish the posts you approve, confirm their status, keep the connection working, provide support you request, and protect the service.

Google API Services User Data Policy

HomeOptix Social Autopilot's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:

  • We use Google user data only to provide or improve the user-facing features described above.

  • We do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide or improve those features, to comply with applicable law, for security purposes, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, as permitted by Google's policy.

  • We do not use or transfer it for serving advertisements, including retargeting, personalized, or interest-based advertising.

  • We do not sell it, and we do not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

  • Our personnel do not read it unless you give your consent (for example, when you ask for support), it is needed for security purposes such as investigating abuse, it is needed to comply with applicable law, or it is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

  • We do not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.

Disconnecting Google

You can disconnect at any time in Social Autopilot, which revokes the authorization at Google and deletes the stored token, or by removing HomeOptix Social Autopilot in your Google Account under third-party connections (myaccount.google.com/connections). See Sections 10 and 12A for retention and deletion.

4C. Social Autopilot Sign-In and Review Emails

Agents use Social Autopilot at app.homeoptix.com. Agents sign in with a one-time sign-in link sent to their email address or, where offered, with their Google account; agents do not have a HomeOptix password. Sign-in links are single-use and expire. We keep the email address, sign-in request times, and request status to operate and secure sign-in.

When an agent signs in with Google, Google provides HomeOptix only the agent's email address and Google account identifier (the "openid" and "email" permissions). We use them only to sign the agent in to Social Autopilot and to keep that sign-in secure. Signing in with Google does not give HomeOptix access to the agent's Google Business Profile, Gmail, contacts, or any other Google data, and this information is handled under the Google API Services User Data Policy described in Section 4B.

HomeOptix may create a limited review account, for example for a platform's app-review team, that signs in with an email address and a password issued by HomeOptix. A review account cannot reach any real agent, listing, or customer. It can connect only the Facebook Page and Instagram professional account that the reviewer chooses during the review, it can publish only the fixed sample post that HomeOptix provides for the review, and it is switched off when the review ends.

Facebook and Instagram connections are handled on connect.homeoptix.com. That address receives the platform's authorization when you connect an account, and the platform's notices when you remove HomeOptix Social Autopilot or ask the platform to delete your data (see Section 12A).

Review and approval emails are sent from approvals@homeoptix.com and contain a private link for the recipient. Please do not forward them; anyone with the link can view the content under review. Access tokens and passwords are never included in these emails.

  • To investigate suspected fraud, abuse, or unlawful activity

  • In connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, acquisition, or transfer of all or part of the business

Service provider limitation

We limit disclosures to information appropriate for the provider's role and use contractual and other safeguards appropriate to the service and information involved. Providers acting on our behalf must use that information only for the authorized service and comply with applicable confidentiality, security, and data-protection obligations. Not every provider receives every category of information.

For Meta Platform Data, disclosures to service providers or in a business transfer are additionally limited by Meta's applicable terms. The general sharing provisions above do not override those restrictions. Social- platform passwords are not collected by HomeOptix, and access tokens are not included in public graphics, approval emails, or public reports.

For Google user data, every disclosure is additionally limited by the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements described in Section 4B.

7. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising

Disclosures

HomeOptix does not sell personal information for money.

However, the use of advertising cookies, Meta Pixel, Conversions API, Google advertising technologies, or similar services may be considered “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” or a “sale” under the broad definitions used by certain state privacy laws.

Visitors can use the cookie controls offered on the website and applicable browser signals to exercise available choices. Individuals may also contact us at orders@homeoptix.com with the subject “Advertising Opt-Out” to request that their information not be sold, shared, or used for targeted advertising where those rights apply. We do not require an account to make an opt-out request. Where law requires a particular opt-out link or request method, we provide that method. See Sections 12 and 13.

These website advertising disclosures do not permit selling Social Autopilot's Meta Platform Data or Google user data, or using either for advertising; the restrictions in Sections 4A and 4B apply.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of children under 16 for targeted advertising.

8. Payment Processing

Payment providers

Payments may be processed by third-party providers such as Stripe or PayPal. These providers collect and process payment information according to their own privacy policies and security practices.

HomeOptix may receive limited transaction information, including:

  • Customer name

  • Billing contact information

  • Transaction amount

  • Payment status

  • Date and time

  • Payment method category

  • Transaction or invoice identifier

Card data

HomeOptix generally does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers.

9. Property Media and Submitted Content

Submitted content

Customers may provide property addresses, listing information, photographs, videos, logos, headshots, access instructions, and other materials necessary to deliver requested services.

We may use such information to:

  • Schedule and perform services

  • Edit, process, host, and deliver media

  • Create marketing materials

  • Communicate with agents, homeowners, vendors, and contractors

  • Maintain records of completed assignments

  • Display portfolio examples where permitted by our agreement, customer instructions, or applicable law

Customer responsibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring they have the authority to provide submitted materials and property information to HomeOptix.

Automated and AI-assisted processing

Some requested services may use automation or AI-assisted tools to prepare captions, marketing copy, graphics, image edits, or related deliverables. Inputs may include the listing information, media, and instructions needed for that task. We limit inputs to what is appropriate for the requested service; passwords, social-access tokens, payment-card details, and private property-access instructions are not content- generation inputs.

The restrictions on Meta Platform Data in Section 4A and on Google user data in Section 4B also apply when an AI provider is involved. Agent review and approval apply to Social Autopilot publishing as described above.

Headshots and background removal

If you upload a headshot or another photograph of a person for HomeOptix Social Autopilot, we may send that image to PhotoRoom (photoroom.com), a third-party image-processing service, to remove its background so it can be used in your marketing graphics. PhotoRoom processes the image in real time and returns the result to us. PhotoRoom has confirmed to us that images sent through its service are not stored by PhotoRoom and are not used to train its models.

Depending on the theme and the framing of the photograph, Social Autopilot may automatically place a headshot inside a themed frame, such as a circle, and may crop or resize it to fit the design. We do not use artificial intelligence to retouch, reshape, or otherwise alter a person's appearance in a headshot.

We keep your original headshot and the processed version with your account and use them only to create your marketing content. You may ask us to delete them at any time using the contact information in Section 18. If your account is closed, they are deleted within 90 days unless the account is reactivated or we are legally required to keep them. Customers are responsible for having the right to use each photograph they provide and the consent of each person shown, as described in Section 9 and the HomeOptix Terms of Use.

10. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide services

  • Maintain customer and business records

  • Support delivered media and revisions

  • Complete billing and accounting obligations

  • Resolve disputes

  • Enforce agreements

  • Meet legal, tax, insurance, and regulatory requirements

  • Protect against fraud and security risks

Retention details

  • Retention periods vary depending on the type of information, the service involved, legal requirements, and operational needs.

  • Residual information may remain in restricted backups until it is removed through the backup lifecycle. It is not retained there for continued ordinary use. If backups are restored, applicable deletion requests must be reapplied.

Connected social-account data

We retain Meta Platform Data only while needed for the permitted service or as otherwise required by law and allowed by Meta's terms. When it is no longer needed, when an applicable deletion request is received, when Meta requires deletion, or when another deletion obligation applies, we delete it as soon as reasonably possible and within applicable deadlines. When an account is disconnected, we stop using that authorization and remove stored access tokens that are no longer needed. When Meta tells us that you removed HomeOptix Social Autopilot or asked for your data to be deleted, we delete the Page and Instagram account data we hold for that connection within 24 hours, as described in Section 12A.

Any legally required retention is limited to the required information and purpose. General business-record retention is not a reason to keep unnecessary Meta Platform Data indefinitely. Listing materials supplied independently by a customer, invoices, and other independent business records may have different retention needs; deleting a social connection does not automatically delete those unrelated records. You may request deletion of those records as well, subject to applicable law.

Connected Google Business Profile data

We keep Google user data only while your Business Profile connection is active and needed for the service. When you disconnect, revoke access in your Google Account, or request deletion, we stop using the authorization and delete the stored tokens and the profile list from our active systems as soon as reasonably possible and in any case within 30 days, unless retention is required by law. Records of posts already published for you (post identifiers and status) remain part of your service history unless you ask us to delete them.

11. Data Security

Security

We use reasonable administrative, organizational, and technical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or misuse.

No website, transmission method, cloud platform, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Visitors and customers should avoid sending sensitive information through unsecured email or website forms unless specifically requested through an appropriate secure process.

12. Your Privacy Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to request:

  • Access to personal information

  • Correction of inaccurate information

  • Deletion of personal information

  • A portable copy of certain information

  • Information about categories of data collected or disclosed

  • Opt-out from targeted advertising

  • Opt-out from certain profiling

  • Withdrawal of consent

  • Review of a denied privacy request

You may also:

  • Manage optional cookies through the controls offered on our website

  • Adjust browser cookie settings

  • Use device-level privacy controls

  • Adjust Google or Meta advertising settings

  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link

  • Contact us to request assistance

Request handling

Send requests to orders@homeoptix.com with the subject “Privacy Request,” or call (757) 328-0174 for assistance. Where applicable, an authorized representative may submit a request on your behalf. We may request proportionate information to verify identity or authority for requests that require verification; we do not require unnecessary verification for an opt-out request.

We respond within the deadlines required by applicable law and explain any permitted extension, limitation, or denial. Where an appeal right applies, reply to our response with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line; we will review the request and explain the outcome and any further complaint options. Applicable law may also allow you to complain to your state attorney general or another data-protection authority.

We may deny or limit a request only where permitted by applicable law and, for Meta Platform Data, consistent with Meta's requirements. We will not unlawfully discriminate against an individual for exercising applicable privacy rights. See Section 12A for specific social-account and Google Business Profile deletion instructions.

12A. Disconnecting Social and Google Accounts and Requesting Data Deletion

Disconnecting a social account

In Social Autopilot, open Connect Facebook and Instagram and choose Disconnect. We stop using the stored access tokens immediately, withdraw our permission at Facebook for a Facebook connection, and erase the stored access tokens within 15 minutes. Nothing further is published to that account. You can also revoke HomeOptix Social Autopilot's authorization through the connected platform's settings for apps or business integrations, or email support@homeoptix.com and ask us to disconnect the account. For Google Business Profile, you can also disconnect in Social Autopilot or remove HomeOptix Social Autopilot at myaccount.google.com/connections. Revoking access prevents further use of that authorization. Disconnecting and requesting deletion of information already held by HomeOptix are related but separate actions; you can request both together.

Removing HomeOptix Social Autopilot in Facebook or Instagram

You can remove HomeOptix Social Autopilot under Settings → Apps and Websites in Facebook, or Settings → Apps and websites in Instagram. You can also ask Facebook or Instagram to delete the data our app received about you. Meta notifies HomeOptix in both cases. We then stop using that authorization and, within 24 hours, delete the access tokens and the Page and Instagram account details we hold for that connection, keeping only a minimal record that the deletion took place. When you ask the platform to delete your data, we give Meta a confirmation code and a link where you can check the status of your request.

Requesting deletion from HomeOptix by email

  1. Email support@homeoptix.com from the email address on your Social Autopilot account, with the subject “Social Autopilot Data Deletion.”

  2. Provide the Facebook Page name or URL, Instagram username, Google Business Profile name, or other connected-account identifier needed to locate the connection.

  3. Tell us whether you want one connection removed, all Social Autopilot connections removed, associated service data deleted, your Social Autopilot account closed, or a broader privacy deletion request.

Do not send passwords, access tokens, payment-card details, or government identification in your initial request. We will request only proportionate additional verification if needed to confirm that you are authorized to make the request.

How we handle the request

After appropriate verification, we stop the affected authorized processing and delete the information covered by your request from our active systems, including tokens and connected-account records, within 7 days, and we confirm the deletion by email. Deletion is subject to applicable legal requirements, Meta's terms, and Google's policies. We also pass applicable deletion instructions to providers processing that information on our behalf.

You can ask for progress or confirmation by replying to the same email thread. If any information must be retained by law, we explain the reason and restrict its use to that required purpose. Section 10 explains backup handling and independently collected business records.

Deleting HomeOptix-held data does not delete your Facebook, Instagram, or Google account. It also does not automatically remove posts already published on a social platform or copies saved or shared by others. Use the platform's controls to remove published posts, or contact us for assistance where we still have the necessary authorization.

13. Global Privacy Control and Browser Signals

Browser signals

Where required by applicable law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, as requests to opt out of the covered sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising processing.

A signal may initially apply to the browser or device transmitting it and to any account or identity to which it must be applied under applicable law. It does not necessarily communicate a preference from your other browsers or devices. You can also contact us using the opt-out instructions in Sections 7 and 12.

14. Children’s Privacy

Children

Our website and services are intended for real estate professionals, property owners, businesses, and adults. Social Autopilot is intended for adult business users. Our services are not directed to children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If we learn that such information has been collected without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

15. Third-Party Websites and Services

Third parties

  • Our website may link to or integrate with third-party websites, platforms, social networks, scheduling tools, payment services, or media-delivery systems.

  • HomeOptix does not control the privacy practices of those third parties. Their collection and use of information are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

16. International Processing

International transfers

HomeOptix and many of its service providers operate in the United States. Some service providers, contractors, editors, or technology platforms may process information in other countries.

Information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in jurisdictions whose privacy laws differ from those in your location. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we use the required lawful transfer arrangements. Merely visiting the website or using a service is not treated as consent to a transfer where a separate legal basis or safeguard is required.

Legal bases where applicable

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on the basis appropriate to the processing: providing a requested service or performing a contract; compliance with legal obligations; legitimate interests such as security and business administration where those interests are not overridden by your rights; or consent where required. When processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of processing already carried out.

17. Changes to This Policy

Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our services, technology, legal obligations, or business practices.

The revised policy will be posted with a new effective date. Where applicable law or platform requirements require additional notice or consent for a material change, we provide that notice or obtain that consent before applying the change. An update does not retroactively authorize an unrelated use of information.
