Chris Carlson, a Virginia Beach local since 1985, is the founder and owner of a leading real estate photography company serving Hampton Roads and beyond. His photography career began in Keflavík, Iceland in 1982, where dramatic landscapes and architecture shaped his expertise in architectural, landscape, and commercial photography. Iceland’s unique environment provided the technical foundation that refined his eye for composition, lighting, and detail.
After returning to the United States, Chris transitioned into the real estate photography industry, where he quickly established himself as a trusted professional for residential, commercial, and luxury property marketing. Today, his work combines decades of experience with modern digital imaging techniques—delivering high-quality real estate photography, video production, and aerial services for listings, developments, and commercial properties across Virginia Beach, North Carolina and tri-state regions.
